Ahh just read this on the 'Day':
Faris has reinjured the left foot she hurt during the 2012-13 UConn women's basketball season.

Got to be a major bummer for such a competitor

Major Bummer for me also as I came in from Rochester NY to see the game tomorrow. Will be there with my Kelly Faris Jersey too bad she won't be get well soon Kelly!

I was really looking forward to watching Kelly's next game in Indy and make more 'friends' as I root for the Sun. Seeing her play these last few games gave us a glimpse of what she can do at this level. Her heady play, good athleticism and great defense will find a place in this league. I hope her offense can continue to catch up during her European season. I am eager for next season and I truly hope the Tina rumors are mere unfounded speculation because the Sun truly need her.
