The Myrtle Beach Tournament was won by Archbishop Carroll from Pennsylvania. A 5-5 freshman named Carney was 6 of 9 from 3-point range. Anyone know of her? Winning 4 games in 5 days against tough competition showed the conditioning of this team.

Jess Carney is listed as a 5'5" freshman guard.

The team is in a tough conference. They lost their opener to CTK of New York, but are undefeated since.

Right league, different school. Meghan played at Cardinal O'Hara in Springfield. Carroll is in Radnor, maybe 8 miles to the north. That league plays solid, Philly-style basketball. Villanova gets a lot of players from the Catholic League.
