..What I did on my holiday break.

Follow these easy steps to build your own BlueWhite Kid Hat Caddy.

1) Find a foam head, a work shop and a few handy tools.

2) Adjust neck length to fit your vehicle's rear window deck (a little gruesome, but you'll just have to suck it up).

3) The height is now correct and the head has been mounted to a base for stability. Now mask off one half of the head. If you struggle with scissor/tape activities, recruit the nearest grade-schooler to help you. On second thought, they probably are more accustomed to "virtual" art than the real thing, so I guess you're on your own.

Be sure to use a commercial spray booth so as not to inhale toxic paint fumes.

4) Apply paint evenly, making light, quick passes until the desired hue is reached.

Make sure the paint is even front to back. This is your handiwork for cryin' out load: take

5) Carefully remove the masking and... Voila! Your BlueWhite Kid Hat Caddy is complete!

Tomorrow I'll post about adding a UConn cap and mounting your Hat Caddy in your vehicle... stay tuned!
