With fourteen former members of the UConn Huskies women's basketball program in the WNBA, the odds are they're going to run into a familiar face on a road trip.
In fact, they only won't see any former Huskies they're acquainted with when visiting the Chicago Sky, Indiana Fever, Los Angeles Sparks and Dallas Wings. So in eight of the twelves WNBA cities, they'll see someone who has played in the UConn women's program or even a former teammate of theirs.
For example, tonight when Stefanie Dolson and Bria Hartley of the Washington Mystics comes to Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, they'll take on and visit with former UConn teammates in Kelly Faris and Morgan Tuck.
Head to the Big Apple and you can have Tina Charles and Kia[h] Stokes of the New York Liberty take you on a tour of the city. Or stop by the training room at Madison Square Garden and say hi to the Liberty's new trainer, Rosemary Ragle, who spent 18 years at UConn.
