Brimah looks like a specialist. There are just too many things he struggles with. That said, he still looks better than last year.

I was thinking the same thing. Facey should not be left off the court except for brief breathers.

He played better down the stretch today have to give AB credit when it's due to him. Facey was ok too. Just need them both to play on the D end better during their minutes.

Both of them played very well for the most part.

The main problem today: lack of 3 point shooting. When we struggle with what we had been succeeding in, it's going to be ugly(especially early in the season).

Gibbs was just awful today. I don't want him running the point. He loves using his left hand to sling erratic passes across the floor, but he can't making a simple lefty layup or create separation from a 7 footer. DISGUSTING.

A specialist? To do what? Play soccer goalie? As a language interpreter (since he speaks about 6 different languages)?

They played well together. The defense starts with the guards and they played terrible first half. The bigs are always put in shltty situations bc the perimeter d sucks. No way brimah doesn't start

You clearly know nothing about basketball if you don't think Brimah adds any value at all.

He adds value alright. Against the Maine's and New Hampshire's of the world. And, he'll be invaluable against Sacred Heart and Central Connecticut. But I wanna see it against the big boys. See how he does against Maryland and Ohio State for a value check. Those are the games I'd like to see him "man-up" for.

He had some moments today give him his due. Just needs to string them together for a game, full game not pockets.

Yes Facey should start. Best rebounder on the team and can finish at the rim.

When we force players to create their own shots, we struggle with threes. When we get it in to the paint, kick it back out and let them shoot in rhythm, we're pretty deadly. I think there is a lesson to be learned there.

Agreed. I missed the first half, but saw the entire 2nd half on my break. Early in the 2nd half, Brimah left Wiltjer wide open and didn't even attempt to defend the shot and Ollie yanked him out for Enoch. After a few minutes, he came back and was terrific the rest of the way; our defense settled down and he even rebounded well. That offensive rebound and putback was a huge part of the comeback. Let's hope Amida can start to put together more stretches like that, because I think Enoch and Phil are breathing down his neck if he doesn't.

First half he had a big impact in the first five minutes that didn't always show up in stats - altered a couple shots, deterred a couple others, grabbed a couple defensive rebounds in traffic, and made a contested shot. He came out and Facey/Nolan struggled with Sabonis. Brimah came back in and picked up a quick foul off the ball holding the big guy after he was pinned deep (first foul). Came back out for Enoch, who had a couple nice moments and earned a longer than expected shift. Last five minutes of half, Brimah was out there and was a non-factor as we fell behind by 16, but our struggles were more to do with our poor D outside.

Start of 2Hl he got caught on a screen and gave the big guy a layup on first possession, but then played pretty well rest of the way.

Let's hold off from starting KF at center guys. He is smaller than AB and big teams will abuse us. Can't we just have KF come off the bench like he is now. I do want to see more of SE though subbing for AB at center. I like that SE is a big body who can really move his feet.

Yes, we can. In fact, he's perfectly suited to that role. Anyone suggesting otherwise is drunk or daft.

He avoided the silly fouls and actually showed the ability to position for rebounds and not just try for blocks. This was a huge improvement from the first games of this season and the last third of last season and he did it against one of the best front courts. I hope he builds on it.
