UConn had a whopping 399 in passes in the National Championship Game, compared to only 165 for Syracuse.

Wow, first time I heard that stat. That's 10 passes per about 30 seconds while we had the ball!

They also have a stat for "hockey assists." That is, Player A in cases where A passes to B who passes to C who scores. That's something that UConn would have quite a few of if it were officially tallied over the course of a season.

They were showing thepassing stats on the board at the game so I assume it's the official scorekeeper(s).
