I think he's heavier

why does he think flopping is a good idea? who taught him this? he's flopped at least one time in every Cuse game I've watched. All so weird to me

and yes, I absolutely despise the flop, disgusting basketball

I know that AD flopped a few times this year, but not recently. He's being taught proper defense

must be a Brazilian/international thing, Anderson Verajao is from Brazil and he's a big time flopper as well for a big guy

unfortunately it is a reality of college basketball, the offensive foul is the worst officiated call in any major sport. you can either cry about it, or try to take advantage of it. melo is/was the defensive player of the year, probably because he took a ton of charges and still blocked more shots in 15 games than anyone else did in 18 games. i wonder why drummond with all his talent isnt a better defender.

And yet Drummond made Fab his personal bitcsh for 3 games, while being 3 years younger.

It's amusing how Cuse fans think he's gonna be a good NBA player. That ugly bastard is the definition of a flopper. He's a poor man Hasheem with less offensive game.

melo played his role and his team went 3-0.

You were asking why Drummond wasn't a good defensive player and showing Melo as a good one. Yet for all the extra age and year in college basketball he still got bitcshed around.

I wonder how good of a defender Drummond will be when he's 21.

You do remember how awful Fab was last year as a 20yr old freshman right?
I wish Andre would stay I think his improvement would be dramatic.

Imagine Drummond playing in college at the age of 21 (Senior year). He would probably average like 25 and 18 with 5 or 6 blocks a game.

I mean, Drummond definitely got the better of Fab Melo and Syracuse definitely got the better of UConn over those 3 games. Still, I would LOVE to be placed in a bracket w/'Cuse as the #1 seed.

right, it's good defense. That's why guys flop all over the NBA, eh?

JC doesn't teach good defense despite leading the nation in defense year after year.

I just don't understand how he gets the calls with his blatant flops. How could a guy who is 7' 260 lbs get legitimately knocked down by Shabazz?

Drummond vs. Cuse: 14.6 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 2.6 bpg
Melo vs. UConn: 8.6 ppg, 6 rpg, 2.1 bpg
