Extended stay in Milwaukee for our guys

This is part of why Hurley wasn't happy about the scheduling to end the year.

Late game Wednesday night in Milwaukee.

Then back home.

Then travel to Providence for Saturday.

The disruption interferes with game prep even further.
Good news is the game isn't until 8 pm tomorrow night. An early start would have been really tough, especially for us fans.

Wow.

Didn't know "short bus" references were still a thing in 2024. Especially odd since this UConn team is considered a high IQ team running a universally praised advanced offense.
Is this a weird attempt at a joke or something?

Have I failed geography?? Or grammar?

Chicago's now "up the road" from Milwaukee?

But upon UConn's return to the airport, the team learned that this flight had to be canceled, as well. So, the Huskies booked a practice at the University of Milwaukee that afternoon and flew home afterwards — from Chicago, about 90 minutes up the road.
the preferred use of "up the road" or "down the road" should coincide with going north or south but many use either more loosely to simply indicate a trip of a sizeable distance.

Looks right to me.
