If you were building a new franchise in the women’s professional game, an expansion franchise, and as such you could take several young players from other teams ... if you wanted young talent for years and years to come, how would this group sound to you … Paige Bueckers, Cameron Brink, Dominique Malonga, Kate Martin, Rickea Jackson and Aari McDonald?

I kinda thought it sounded pretty good; particularly if it were a WNBA team like maybe the new Toronto club! It is for real, that is the new 'Breeze' franchise. But it is not the new Toronto team in the W. It is Unrivaled.

In the WNBA a lot depends on what they do to improve the officiating. If they let lesser talented players just hold onto the players like PB then it doesn't matter. The bigs on your list a all tall and lanky and in the W the pounding they get really diminishes what they will accomplish too. They are young and talented but right now the league is run by the old ruffians and they are not about to let the young guns take over just yet.

While the city of Toronto would love this roster, not sure if UConn fans would be high on the idea of Paige on a team that was literally starting from scratch based on how they felt about Dallas this season. 😉

Golden state was much better than Dallas so why not Toronto
