As a native of Puerto Rico who has lived in PR his entire life (except for my four years at UConn), I have always been an avid defender of statehood for Puerto Rico. One of my greatest frustrations is the fact that half of the PR population still does not favor statehood and prefer to continue living as second class citizens of the US. That said, nothing is more frustrating than conference realignment and the uncertainty surrounding UConn at the moment!
