The WNBA made some decent strides in the past couple years with the new commissioner at the helm. She's very pragmatic and is trying to be realistic. Marketing and engagement definitely has to improve but based on what has happened, I think the WNBA is on the right track. We're seeing young girls getting more excited about seeing women play. Parents pick up on that and will try to support based on my experience as a youth basketball coach. If the WNBA marketing team gets it right, they could have a loyal fanbase for years to come.
