One adjustment seemed simple: calm down, run the offense at the pace it's meant to be run. Have patience that the play will develop.Love watching us ruin teams in the 2nd half. Whatever they think they have going, disappears
So much fun
Whoop whoop whoop
Agreed. Wooden used to say, "Play fast, but don't rush." We were rushing in the first half. More composed and kept spacing better especially in the last 10 minutes. Lots of assists. Looked like a UConn team. One adjustment seemed simple: calm down, run the offense at the pace it's meant to be run. Have patience that the play will develop.
They were rushing the entire game against SHU. Almost every turnover was from running at 110% speed but the ball can only go 100%Agreed. Wooden used to say, "Play fast, but don't rush." Illinois was close at the half. Hahahai finally got used to this during march madness last year. as long as it was a close game at halftime, like it was against Bama and Purdue, i was confident we'd pull away in the second half.
