Anyone else watched the Golf Channel this morning?
Lots of drama and a meltdown worthy of Jean van de Velde.

Amy Olson took a one shot lead to the 18th, then shanked her tee shot into the trees.
That'd be her only missed fairway of the day.
She then three-putts for a double bogey, costing her any shot at even a playoff.

Good on Angela Stanford finally getting her first major at age 40, and her interview afterwards was really touching, with lots of joyful crying going on. 2018 Evian Championship: Angela Stanford wins 1st major
But man, watching that last hole being played out was just painful.

Here's how much I know about golf. I assumed that Evian Masters was someone's name.
Oh, well....

Slight bone to pick: this is the 5th major of the year for the LPGA...4 is just fine.

Good for Stanford but really pulling for Olson. The duck hook was coming she was showing nerves down the stretch and didn't commit to the lay up at all. Actually a decent 3rd shot considering the lie but a monster putt with trembling hands due to pressure and now a bit of embarrassment it was bound to be either very short or long. Too bad but a fun watch. Mo also had some good looks down the stretch but couldn't convert. Made some great up and downs also.

It wasn't quite van de Veldian, but it was too close to that for Olson.

Keegan Bradley failed to execute on the 72nd hole in the BMW Championship about 9 days ago after striping the ball all day long. But a mis-club by Justin Rose into the wind bailed him out.
