There's been a lot of talk about subs and who is worthy but we need only look at the past few years under Hurley to notice a trend: we are a system team. When the D is on, the offense is running well. Everybody looks good.
Look at Nova and St John's- Stew had a good game against Nova because WE had a good game against Nova ( same goes for other bench and starters)
Against St John's Smith, Ross, AK, Solo and Reed looked great because we were in sync.
Take Stew and Hass- Hass was a beast on the 24 team. Stews best game was against Marquette in 24.
We've all said AK is a piece, not a guy who can take over games. Thats because we are built that way.
Sometimes Silas can take over but its few and far between. We are a team. It's more convoluted to think that against St John's everyone decided to have a great game at the same time. The more obvious answer is that we all look good when we play with fire and follow what we practice. We feed off each other.
In other words, John Bonham's a nobody if he's wasnt in Led Zeppelin
