I wonder what the ref said to Hurley? 48 sec in the video.

This is incredible footage.

  1. The Hurley to official headbutt is wild. Would love to know what that was all about.
  2. Wish, wish , wish there was a camera that stayed on Pops Boozer. Didn’t mind him in his day, but he was annoying as f during the tourney.
  3. Calmest person in the building was Bob Sr. Then turns to, I think his daughter, and just says “holy !”
  4. The whole play is fascinating. Duke had three freshmen who did not want the ball. And Scheyer was coaching them to get rid of the ball. You had two bad FT shooters in the game and their best FT shooter nowhere near the ball. Sarr is a 55% FT shooter and he’s your inbounded? I’m usually not in the bad coaching hivemind, but whoa, Scheyer absolutely butchered those 10 seconds.
  5. AK showed how freaking smart he is by getting it back to Braylon. 99% of othe player would take that shot and get blocked.
  6. Evans not even considering playing defense was a choice. Also shocked how invisible he was offensively.

The ref is getting Hurley’s attention to tell him something before that, I assume time on the clock and that they’re going to look at the time. I’m sure they just had to get very close due to the noise and Hurley is just weird like that.

Bob Sr and Mrs Hurley are legit shocked. They've never seen anything like it. And theyve probably seen like 10000 basketball games in their lives. Everyone was shocked.... except our squad.... except our dudes. They never flinched. Never stopped executing. It was remarkable. Unfazed by the situation and the pressure. Unfazed by the name "Duke". Unfazed by the talented Boozer brothers. Unfazed by their own poor shooting.... to that point. They did what had to be done.

How do you not leave a camera on Carlos Boozer for the full reaction?

Because somebody with a conscience knew what they were doing. The kid carried Duke for more than 39 minutes. I'm proud of any network that doesn't run video zoomed in on him as they lost.

Personally, I can't get enough of the last two or three seconds with the steel, to the assist, to Mullins three pointer.

Criminal not showing that.

Carlos was waving and saying goodbye to SJU team and fans in the previous game. They showed that.

Totally agree. The ref initiated that.
