And try to control the clock and win close games with the D?

Anyone who thinks Whitmer is the answer is LOST. We have 0 playmakers on offense. The closest thing to one is Mccombs and maybe Griffin. Whitmer, offensive line, wide receivers are not quality players for this level.

Except that we've yet to be able to run the ball this year, so all that does is lead to 3rd and long's. Can't judge a QB when the only times they are allowed to throw is 3rd and long, or when we need 2 scores with under 4 minutes to go.

Yeah. You routinely put the kid in impossible situations and he is the problem. You waste first and second down with nothing handoffs to McCombz, and ur shocked when he throws an incomplete on third down. Or you decide ur going to open up the offense when ur down multiple scores with under five minutes and ur shocked he throws picks.

these two coaches wouldn't know a playmaker if one juked right on their faces.

I think whitmer has the potential to be a good QB if put in the right situation. Geremy Davis is a good WR but never gets any looks. He has made some great catches, but once he does that they never look his way again. I think we should mix in some different running back from time to time. Mccombs has to be beat by the end of the game. Just think if 2 or 3 running backs played in the game, which we have running backs capable other than mccombs. a fresh running back against a tired D could help greatly. Lastly, Deleone has to go

And he is getting crushed by the rush. Crushed. WMU crushed our offensive line. Smacked Whitmer so hard I can't believe he came back for the Buffalo game. Something is not right, but don't blame Whitmer. This team has looked terrible since the start of last year. Maybe it's scheme, maybe it's talent. I'm not the one with the answers, but it's not Whitmer.

We mixed in just about every RB we have in the stable today except one (which I cannot explain).

We have more yards passing than Rutgers today. O-line is a huge issue for this team.
