Phantoms, a team in Boom, Belgium, announced via Facebook today that Evelyn has signed for the 2020-21 season (assuming no disruptions, Belgium is one of the countries with the longest current ban on sports).

So happy for her. LOVED reading the article a few months back about how much she loved UCONN, her experience there, all she learned from the coaches and staff, and how much she enjoyed her teammates - and this was AFTER most of the season where she only played limited minutes.

Kid had a tremendous attitude and hopefully she can take all she learned at UCONN and apply it to the pro leagues and have a great career! Best wishes Ev!!!

Of course I would've loved to see Evelyn earn more playing time, but her glowing review of her time at UConn is as strong as testament as any to the culture that Geno and CD et al. have built in Storrs. The caliber of a program is just as strongly revealed through the experience and character of the last players off the bench as it is through the All-Americans.

Happy for Evelyn to have found her way onto a pro roster. I'll be rooting for her.
