There is a misstatement in the first minute that very few UConn fans will miss.

If they are going to show this on TV tonight, they better correct the faux pas before the airing, otherwise they will get a ton of unfavorable UConn emails...

Talking about "9th title in school history" which ignores men's titles? Not sure I could call that a misstatement--it was implied they were talking only about women. If that's not it I'm stumped.

Heard it too but figured i just misheard. Went back and knew it right away.

How is it so obvious to a fan of another school and not to several posters above? Think UT reference.

was Rita a recruit or an alum when she was sitting behind the bench?

Actually, Cockhorn, it's only me ... guess I'm being dense on this one. I thought it slightly odd that they referenced the titles won by the schools and not by Pat and Geno respectively. But, I don't think that made it inaccurate to say "9th title would break a tie with TN for most in the women's game." Still racking my brain ...

They switched the wording; originally the piece said it would tie Tennessee, if I'm not mistaken.

Lol ... Must have replayed it fifteen times ... All after they fixed it. I would have caught that immediately!

I just watched it again; they changed the wording from "it would tie" to "it would break a tie".
