Turned on TV, Geno was talking about cranking up defensive pressure, getting out of the half court game and scoring more easily.
All team tired & banged up this time of year, teams that can dig down and find energy and intensity will be successful.
Re: this year's defense- without Maya needed to come together and play better team defense. Helps that Bria and Stef, Kelly and Tiff Are older, more mature. They understand there can be no more nights off, need a great collective effort. we take pride in our defense.
Beth Mowins, don't have a Tina, DT or Maya, how is that.
Geno - got uncomfotable in prev years, all the talk was about our star, is different now. we were dominant team then, this year BG and Baylor are dominant. There is a time and place for teams and this is their (Baylor's) time and that's ok. Our expectations are always the same, to go for championship. The difference this year is that we're the only ones that believe we can do it.
