ACC/SEC Challenge announced for 2023-24 college hoops season

A newly formed ACC/SEC men's and women's basketball challenge tournament will kick off during the 2023-24 season, ending the ACC/Big Ten and SEC/Big Ten Challenges.

No doubt that these "Extra Games" that those teams in both the ACC and SEC will now be required to play, will have an impact on other conferences (ie: Big East, Big 12, PAC-12, and Big 10) trying to add "COMPETITIVE" non-conference games to their schedules.

How are these "extra games"? The article says the new SEC-ACC challenge will simply replace the SEC-Big 12 and ACC-Big Ten challenges that have been going on for years. So how does this affect the opportunities for other potential nonconference games?
