I run a HDMI cable from my computer to my tv to watch online TV like ESNP3. Beats watching the game on my computer screen

Posting info just incase anyone on the forum might not be aware that you can to that.

must have a HDMI output on you computer...

and a HDMI TV... seems that some of the old-schoolers refuse to purchase a HDTV, their 27" tube works just fine

If you do have HDMI TV another way to get ESPN3 is to get an Apple TV box (one time cost $99.00) and connect an HDMI cable from that to one of the HDMI ports on your TV. Among the various content you will get is Watch ESPN which includes live games and replays on ESPN3.

This is really worth doing- once it is done and hook up is in place---- everything is in High Definition!!!! And I think you can pause and rewind anytime also? I do it all the time and I can't remember!

lol.....DC always quick with the smack-down on the "old-schoolers"

I'm saving up for one of these to watch UCONN games from my Mac Pro (just wishful thinking of course)

The old schoolers can even keep their CRT tvs if both their pc vid card and their tv have S-video connections, or even (gasp!) rca connections (shuddering at these low res thoughts of mine).

If you have a kid with an Xbox game system, you can get ESPN that way thought it costs about $10 per month.

Forget the 4K, OLED is available now and better from all reports I have heard. Better is to wait three years until it is affordable:)

My dad is 87 and a uncle 74 who has no clue about this new streaming, HDTV HDMI stuff... Not taking shots at the posters per se... they get credit for being on the net.
