Just to show you how bad that APR penalty was last year, Shabazz didn't make the Cousy list last year (which was updated in late January, top 20 point guards in the country), and this year, after 1 big performance which looked very much like some of the games last year, he's one of 7 or 8 being talked about for the Wooden.

Even this year, if Shabazz was averaging 17, 8 and 6 for Louisville or Syracuse or even Wake Forest, ESPN would be rubbing one out to him during every broadcast.

Midway through the second half of the Houston-Stanford game last night, ESPN felt compelled to show viewers a map of where the new ACC conference is located.

Maybe they figured nobody any good would go to UMass.
