There are 210 days until the 2025-26 season, but Houston is already the favorite at the top.

That feels right. We’ll be in the mix, at a minimum, to possibly being atop this list in October if Karaban is back.

Houston with their monster class and Sharp/Tugler presumably coming back is probably my pick right now, too. Obviously the next several weeks of portal madness can and will change these rankings drastically. But I really like where we are roster-wise for now.

Took a look through and dont see any teams that I would take over us with Alex back.... Top few were meh, I would love to play Louisville next year, they are super overrated imo. I actually really like the mix that arkansas appears to have for next year.. Saint johns is a good point guard away from having a sick team next year. I love those two 2 guards, neither of them can really run the point though and that frontcourt is gonna be scary. Kansas is another team that I think is gonna be much better, they have had a serious culture problem but that should be cleaned out and their freshman point is LEGIT, like i think he is gonna be as good as cooper flagg. I also cannot believe they left creighton off. I think they end up around a top 10 team by the time the season starts

It will be interesting to see how Sampson coaches with high level freshmen who may have more skills but are less physically mature than what Sampson has coached the past few years.

I get why they do it. Clicks. Something to discuss now that the tourney is over. It's done on the women's side too. The portal is just starting to heat up and there will be a LOT of additions to teams over the next month or so. I'm sure they will revisit it when the activity dies down...

Not bad for a team that currently has 8 committed roster spots. Hopefully that changes by week's end to 10. Still more work to do but feels about right (for now)

I think that it’s a very valid strategy to rely on some of your 5 star freshman being awesome, I personally think that an ideal situation is 2 5 star recruits augmented by a mix of sophomores and upper classmen

Pretty normal? Grad students, MD students, students who took time off, students doing it part time... and so on. Now 36... yeah, I felt a little funny when one of the pretty girls in my pottery class told me their dad was the same age.

I expect us to be ranked in the top 10 and to maintain a top 25 ranking during the season based on the roster so far and what we can expect to fill it out with. We had a mediocre year (not really but that seems to be the vibe here) and were just a few buckets away from even more glory with our current roster, I think we all agree that the incoming squad is going to be better.
