Agree... 2011 was the greatest March ever by anyone.

Duke in 2004 was a terrible game for spectators. We love it because we won, but the refs ruined what should have been a match between the two best teams. Thankfully, JC figured out the refs were being insane and didn't let Okafor back in, but K took too long, or thought he could build up a big enough lead so that it didn't matter (and he was almost right!).

But there were so many fouls called, and all the best big guys were in foul trouble, that any fan without a stake in the game didn't enjoy it. Reminded me in some ways of the abomination that was the 2001 NCAA Title game...but in 2004, the good guys won.

As for 2011--it does reference the tournament FF, but mostly for Butler and VCU. That said, the end of the Pitt-Butler game is still the worst call I remember seeing (and I know many disagree).

The 04 Duke game is an all time gambling moment. Duke covered on the meaningless mid court three at buzzer.

The best game of that group was the '99 ship. Those other moments are classic, but they aren't a down to the wire battle for the whole enchilada.

Yup, the media was ready to crown the 99 Duke team one of the best ever.

I have nothing to prove this, but I have long suspected that those late 90's Duke teams were taking PED's. Many of their player had these strange looking stretch marks on their shoulders much like the Rick Barnes Providence and Texas teams in the 90's.
