Nah, we - like UConn - have a handful of fans who don't homer out over everything.

It's just a popularity contest until February. Even then, the only "poll" that matters is the selection committee and the difference between 1-2-3-4 ain't a big deal then.

If there was a clear favorite and it was disrespectful maybe. That's not the case here.

If I remember correctly @Plebe didn't do a pre-season poll. The first poll last year was after the season began.

In my opinion, Maya Moore was the best freshman I've ever seen. But she didn't start until we had injuries. I'm not sure if Azzi will start, but I think she will get starter's minutes and probably will start some games. She's really, really, really good, but Evina was the #2 ranked player in her class and has 3 years of college experience, so she's not exactly chopped liver.
