UConn ranks 18th with two ESPN100 commits - #87 James Bouknight and #97 Jalen Gaffney.
The Huskies landed their backcourt of the future in the span of one week in September, with ESPN 100 guards James Bouknight and Jalen Gaffney both pledging to UConn. Bouknight is the scorer of the two, and he boosted his stock during a strong July. Gaffney was overshadowed on the AAU circuit by five-star teammates, but he can really shoot the ball from the perimeter and is unselfish with the ball in his hands. Dan Hurley will look to shore up the frontcourt next.
Still involved with #10 Precious Achiuwa, #31 Kofi Cockburn, #39 Akok Akok, #80 Tre Mitchell and unranked 4* Qudus Wahab.
