It's summer time... not much to write about.

The only reason the Big 12 pretended they wanted to expand was to get a bunch of schools to beg for admission just to show everyone they are not the cesspool every knows them to be.

I still believe B12 eventually expands or folds. They're more like the AAC than any other P4, IMO.

Not so much. There was a going on in that fustercluck. Oklahoma and Texas were having a dick measuring contest

the conference was trying to ESPN to sweeten their deal without expansion; the conference was looking to take the money grab by expanding; ESPN was being ESPN and said, essentially, "you remember the Conference formerly known as the Big East, we eviscerated them - something to keep in mind - dont F with us."

There were a ton of moving pieces but it was extraordinarily poorly handled.

I still think after all the horsetrading was done we were eventually going to be in with BYU, Cincy, and Houston until the public pushback against BYU gathered steam.
