DeShields 3rd is interesting, she looks to be the star of the USA team that Russell and Davis both play on even though they are rated above her.

Breanna Stewart, KML, MoJeff, Maya Moore, Kelsey Bone, and Chiney O were all 98s as well. Griner was rated a 99.

they over inflate the rankings of everyone in the top 100. look at espn's boys rankings they are not labeling everyone 92+. #1 player is a 96. #100 is a 81. In the HG rankings someone in the 40s can have either same or 1 ranking point away as someone 20 to 30 spots higher. espn coverage has taken a toll for the worse, just look at the july tournaments there were barely any articles. Blue Star media had so many articles and even fullcourt had good coverage. the only thing is full court doesn't rank and bluestar rankings you cannot even tell when they last updated, it does not say. kaela davis is still a tenn commit to them so it must be old.

What I find interesting is that players ranked 1 - 19 are rated 5 stars! Wow! What a great and talented class

I was just looking at the ratings back to 2008.... the 98's were pretty much spot on.... the 97's were hit and miss... some stars... some good players.... others the jury is still out.

Obviously they started to give out higher grades a few years back. Shenise Johnson was a top 15 player.. yet only had a 92 grade.

1-17 were 5 stars in 2012.

2013 - 3 98's, 3 97's.
2012 - 2 98's, 5 97's.

No one as good as Stewart in 2013.
