Two of the founding four with UConn ties -- Kimani Young and Marquette's Dwayne Killings. All 21 minority Big East assistant coaches signed up to form Coaches For Action.

The group has three initiatives on its agenda already. The first is to get Black Lives Matters patches on uniforms for every game next season, to bring awareness to the BLM movement as well as the initiatives of the Coaches For Action group. Also on the list is a scholarship fund for minority students across the country and initiatives around voting.

I'm always in support of initiatives bringing high-quality education access to black, latino and underserved communities. And know the benefits of higher education pathway programs for the communities I mentioned above. These are actions following protests which I hope would take place in all sectors and communities throughout our country.
