Very sick of hearing this guy talk about UCF the entire game, about how if there is another realignment, UCF should be viewed as a team on the rise! Really the same team we are taking to the woodshed? No mention of UCONN heading in or trending in the right direction. Give me a break, same turd also referenced the Mac and Cheese kid from UCONN, pretty much insinuating that all UCONN fans were like that since they were sticking around for the blowout. The other announcer just sighed and didn't really acknowledge him. Probably thought he sounded like a fool and didn't want to be lumped in with him. Moron, not all UCONN fans or students are like that kid.

I was a little perturbed as well. I'd complain about the guy, but I don't even know who he was. I don't know who either announcer was. Never caught their names and never saw them.

I especially enjoyed the frequent baseball talk during a college football broadcast.

ESPN is a shell of itself.

Really strange he was talking AAC P5 candidates during a UConn blowout win and couldn't have bothered to at least throw a bone and say "Of course UConn brings great basketball bla blah

Only a desperate Big12 would consider the #5 team in Fl with a 70 year old coach to gain some exposure in a new market. Ignoring the winning team with multiple NC's in multiple sports made him sound like he was on some very strong meds.

I even yelled at the TV for that. Not because they talked baseball, because I'm sure it can be hard to make up stories in a blowout, but because they were wrong there too. They talked about Lackey's career almost being over, but his last season in Boston he pitched extremely well. They made it sound like StL turned him around.

Not one mention on the clear progress this team and program is making, the obvious basketball strengths, Olympic sports are strong, and last but not least, hello announcer!!!! What about the academic leaps this university has formed and continues to be one of the best in the nation. What an idiotic comment! Someone should complain to ESPN..

I didn't notice any anti-UCONN bias. I think they were just amazed how far a program could fall in such a short time, and they harped on it way too much.

He said in the next realignment, UCF, USF, Cincinnati, Houston, and Memphis would be good candidates for expansion. The rest of the conference (including UConn) had no value.

The guy was an idiot, and talking about stuff way over his pay grade.

When UConn can beat a team P-5 with a winning record, and average more than 16 points a game in FBS competition......then maybe they'll be mentioned in the context of expansion.

With the exception of , all the AAC teams mentioned have explosive offenses and are entertaining to watch.

I'm glad they won, but honest. It was a very poorly played game by both teams, sloppy, penalty filled.

The worst team in FBS sacks the UConnQB 5 times!

How many times did UConn get called for illegal formation? Six games into the season!

A non biased comment by a play by play commentator was made near the end of the first half......not a direct quote, but true......."Anyone watching this game can understand why both teams are rated so low"

A win is a win.......but I wouldn't come away with my head in the clouds. Going forward the rest of the AAC games will be a lot tougher.

Really? After a blowout win on the road?

You said last week the UCF game would be close btw. So if anyone should be a little more positive...

Unfortunately, ESPN is a shell of its former self. The Rasmussens must be kicking themselves for selling out. They started ESPN for Whalers and UConn games, not 'International Paint Drying Championship'. Since Disney owns them, they ruined the brand.

I would but Disney is another crappy company who don't care about customers. If they did, they wouldn't charge north of $100 to visit Mickey and have Gay Pride Days. Walt is spinning in his grave...

The irony to the ramblings of the announcing team is that half way through the third quarter, the ONLY people watching are UConn fans. No national audience cares about watching UConn's second teams and predictable running plays to eat up the clock. UCF fans are coming off 3 solid seasons so this season is a shock to their system, their hardcores were at the game. They all changed the station. There is NOONE LEFT listening to that broadcast that cares about UCF in realignment. If it's a topic of interest, at least include the school whose fans are still engaged in the game in the discussion.

Fwiw, Ahmad Brooks was the announcer that took the high road pretty much with his comments. It was the other guy that sounded like an
I didn't care for Ahmad, but Anus Smirnoff took the cake. He was awful.

Don't forget the World Series of Poker. Riveting.
