It's interesting how divisive Enoch is among the ranking services. The guy from Scout had a blurb just yesterday saying 60 is probably too low.

Late bloomers always have a ton of variance and it's fair to say Enoch hasnt been consistent even if he shows flashes of great play.

It all depends on who saw him when. Reports from last weekend were glowing, reports from November were less than.

It also depends on their criteria. If you're talking about how good these guys are right now, or how good you're expecting them to be when they get to campus, you rank Enoch a little lower. If you're concerned more with how good they're going to be, then 60 might be way too low.

In November he was watched by some of the recruiting reporter and played so so at best. But this summer and this past weekend has been very good

You'd rather have an Enoch than a lot of kids we saw at #60. We are clearly a DEVELOPMENT mode program. We will rarely do the UK top 20. A kid who is 6'10 with athleticism can really be a top grab for UConn. Work him; refine his body; and give him IQ. He could be a solid player for us.

I know the emphasis is on Stone but what about a juco guard who's a 3 point threat?

@AdamZagoria: Pervis Ellison told me he expects UConn to offer 2015 PG @tra_carter &that they could also offer Malik Ellison @likellison13 if a ship opens

@AdamZagoria: Pervis Ellison on UConn: "They decided that they need a point guard bad."

Far fewer 5 star prospects this year than most on ESPN 100. Unless they changed their grading system (I know they did 2 years ago). Only the top 18 are considered 5 stars this year, while last year the top 29 were 5 stars. Interesting.

Wasn't he hurt at the end of the summer and into the fall?

24/7 has him ranked 52nd in his class...(not the composite, where he is 31). Hard to believe they have him that low.
