She had an awesome December and January, and you can really see it in the stats listed here. You can also see the decline that began in February, undoubtedly when her injuries started taking a toll. Here’s to a healthy year for an awesome player. If that happens, I predict that she averages >18 points/game and >5 rebounds. A healthy Caroline means a strong rebounding team for us, as well as a great scoring team.

That is one awful defender against Caroline- wow! Still, it is fantastic to see her moving so well. Caroline is, in my opinion, the team's most versatile scorer, and she may end up leading the team in scoring

Except that is not Caroline in that video. That is Veronica Burton at 3 X 3 U23 World cup in Bucharest.

Caroline will be the top player, scorer and all around best player on UCONN. You were correct to see that her hip was the reason she tailed off toward the end of the season, although she had a few games when she was her old self for a period of time. As I have been saying, she is in the same mold as Katie Lou Samuelson and i predict she will be as prolific as Katie Lou was, possibly even better. GO HUSKIES!!! GO CAROLINE!!!

All other things being equal, if Caroline is the top scorer and player on the team, we will be in the NC.

I know what you mean to say but I'd be happier if UConn had six players averaging double figures during the season. That would tell me that a lot of the question marks were answered.

Fudd is so efficient that she will likely lead in scoring. She can get 20pts on 10fga's.

Caroline as good as KLS? I don't think so! Someone has been taking fools gold...
I'm the poster that said Caroline COULD BE as good as KLS and possibly better. She showed grit and tenacity in her freshman year even with her ailments, which is the reason I've said what I have. Last year she was a Freshman and this year she is healthy and fit, according to her. Don't be naysayer, give her a chance to prove I'm right. When this year is completed we will see who's right. GO CAROLINE!!! GO HUSKIES!!!

Well, last year Geno said she had a chip on her shoulder about being under appreciated coming out of high school. She gave us a glimpse of what she’s angry about last season. Let’s have a full season of it this year and she’ll never be under appreciated again.

I would be happier too. However, if CD leads the team, knowing that Azzi and Dorka are going to be putting up strong numbers with Lou Two contributing as well, we ain't losing too many games. Geno was saying that the defense has a ways to go and was a work in progress. and he also analogized to a high scoring football game where the team with the best offense just outscores the other team. He also talked about Aubrey as being part of the offensive scheme. We usually just think about her as a floor player. If she averages double figures or close to it we become even more of a true match up nightmare for an opposing team.

I also agree about Azzi. I watched her shot carefully during First Night in the 3 point contest. It is stronger, more effortless if that is possible, and deadly. I know there are a lot of questions about several if not all the players but you have 4 proven scorers in Azzi, CD , Dorka and Lou Two. Whatever we get from Nika, Aubrey, Amari, Ice and Ayanna just adds to the war chest. As for the defense, wait till February. We always are at our best defensively when we get there and prep for the Big Dance.

Bottom line. I'm not worried or concerned. If we stay healthy we get to the FF. After that, who knows?

I know exactly what you mean. I am always impressed how strong Azzi's hands are. Her smile is so electric -- it distracts you from how strong she is.
