The headline matches today are:

Southampton v. Arsenal (giving Southampton a chance to prove they are a real Top 4 contender); and
Chelsea v. Spurs (same for Spurs...all we can hope for is a tie, but that seems unlikely despite my optimism regarding a Kane-Soldado tandem up front).

The other two matches also feature a Top 4 hopeful, and a Top 4 dreamer:

Man City v. Sunderland
Everton v. Hull City

I hate to say it, but I think Southhampton is running out of momentum.

Spurs have not won at Chelsea in 24 years.

From what I read, FA is taking this a tad seriously; but, losing Balotelli for any amount of time will hurt Liverpool. I guess the Boston Red Sox of England have for their Manny.

Balotelli has been really visible off the field, but ineffectual on the field. I think Liverpool can't wait to get Origi back from Lille.

Speaking of the French League. Check out Bedoya today.

Good for him (and I detest PSG).

About as effective as the Gunner's defense, down by 3 to 0 to Stoke at half and they fall 3 to 2. Put on top of UConn football's sad showing against SMU and I plan to spend the rest of this rainy day drinking.
