Cincy gets some pretty good players to roll through there. Mitchell the year before and now this center. They are a good spring board school for top tier teams.A center duo of Hines/Thiam would have to be #1 in the country
This is what I am crossing my fingers for. There will be plenty of playing time both of them. I have wanted Thiam to be at UConn since he announced he was going to the transfer portal. I expect Thiam to be somewhat of a floor spacing center (15-52). I think he can improve on that in addition to the other skills he brings.A center duo of Hines/Thiam would have to be #1 in the country
Yeah, not happening for many reasons. We need a backup, not a top 4 transfer C.I’d be shocked if we have real interest after getting Hines with the prices being reported for bigs.
So odd that we are referring to Cincy as a springboard team.Cincy gets some pretty good players to roll through there. Mitchell the year before and now this center. They are a good spring board school for top tier teams.
That would be quite a move to get both. I'm dubious Thiam wants to come here to compete with Hines when he could have an easier path somewhere else. I'll let our staff work their magic.A center duo of Hines/Thiam would have to be #1 in the country
Not going to pay 6mm+ for two guys playing 20 minutes each. And neither came here to be a back up.That would be quite a move to get both. I'm dubious Thiam wants to come here to compete with Hines when he could have an easier path somewhere else. I'll let our staff work their magic.
I wouldn't mind him as backup center.
Do you forget that we have the best coach in college basketball, why wouldn’t he want to come here. Can’t imagine a scenario where Thiam would want to come here.

It happened 2 years ago when Dre Davis transferred from Seton Hall to Ole Miss. Davis was a forward, but the same thing happened. He went for more money. I don't blame him either.A guard going from seton hall to…ole miss is a sign of the times
Mississippi is desperateI didn't think big P5 money was gonna be there for a 5'8" PG that doesn't shoot 3s but I guess so
Wouldn't surprise me to see Freeman in Queens for a visit with RickIf StJ missed on this kid, would be a lot of whiffing going on by the Storm. And I don't see them on too many lists.
I know they have Jackson and this UK guard, but to be at a point where you don't have anything of real significance in yet, no big name, when a good portion are taken, is interesting for Pitino.
If you’re talking about Dioubate from Kentucky, he’s on a visit to LSU today. He isn’t locked up at allIf StJ missed on this kid, would be a lot of whiffing going on by the Storm. And I don't see them on too many lists.

This will never end for them until the AD grows a pair and hires a coach who's been a winner at multiple lower level jobs (like Dan Hurley) and thus has learned how to develop and operate a program. No successful coach at a high level program is going to leave a good situation to go to the land of past glory.![]()
