Eh, this kid wants NIL and ticket to the NBA ASAP - he'll be as much a distraction as fun/talented.

Pope is on his last year - if I'm a UK fan, I hope for a very average year. No one wants to play for him - that is a big problem. If you can't attract recruits when you have the most $$ and UK name, it's an uphill struggle. I think he should have gone the Underwood route.

Who said he is playing Center? He could play PF which normally what Florida likes to do. Also, you have to think Hines and Giltay are are probably shorter than their listed heights too. Most of these players listed heights are with shoes on.

Not much worry about credits transferring. Easier to get his degree. That’s probably what made his decision.

I never understood why it matters anyway. Never seen a basketball game where they didn’t wear shoes. So if you’re a certain height in shoes, then that’s how tall you are for the purposes of basketball

I liked him when he went into the portal as a good backup Center as he can score in the post but knew after we got Giltay we were out of this race for sure. I'm sure he wants starter minutes anyhow.
