He always seemed like a nice kid but all the Non-Casual fans say he lacked intensity and interest in defense so he didn't get much playing time here. It's too bad Hurley wasn't the coach when he was recruited.

As to how he's doing at Louisville, he's had two good games in a row, but other than that he's been very up and down so this might be a case of the blind squirrel eventually finding an acorn (or two). The next dozen games will surely tell the story.

Best game of his career – hopefully many, many more to come.

And the parts I saw, it didn't look like he was playing out of his mind. He was just playing. In the Dean Dome.

I'll always root for Steve. He wanted to be a Husky for life and would've been if things hadn't fallen apart so badly.
He committed when he visited and said UConn was his dream school, IIRC

SE was very young when he started here. By transferring and sitting out a year it has to have given him time to improve. His offensive skills were always evident but at that time the ball was not going in. He just needed time to mature and refine his game. I wish Hurley had a shot with him.

impressive, he looked very smooth and poised in probably one of Louisvilles most important games to date

He is also looking like he is in the best shape of his college career. Watched the last few minutes where he ran full court to block a shot. Great to see his interest on the defensive end as well.

The kid is a great basketball player. I hope he has a long professional career. Him and Ollie didn't mesh.

a starting line up of JA, CV, AG, vance jackson and Enoch might be pretty darn good this year.

He didn’t get PT because he has been a foul machine.
He hurt us in 2016-17 with his inability to stay on the floor.
That was a short handed team he if he stayed out of foul trouble he would have helped.
There was no conspiracy . He has pretty much hurt himself at Louisville with the same MO
He had three today but apparently stayed on the floor for 25 minutes
Hopefully for him he figured out he wasn’t going to make any money making stupid fouls and three’s our sitting on the bench.
