Both are correct.

A lot of pre-season polls had ASU in the top-25, but didn't help that top-freshmen Josh Christopher and Marcus Bagley played a combined 27 games.

The biggest issue was their lack of capable bigs. With Romello White grad transferring to Ole Miss, there was a huge hole, especially forcing sophomore Jalen Graham to play more minutes than what he was ready for.

In 21-22, with Boakye reclassifying, a healthy Bagley and Bramah coming in, that's a real nice trio of forwards to pair with Jalen Graham to play the 4 and 5 spots. I wonder if Josh Christoper will return too. Hope to catch an ASU game if/when I fly out to the Phoenix area next Christmas to visit the in-laws.

I saw them play and my reaction was they were the opposite of Danny’s squad... very skilled but just not tough enough.

I plan on going to a couple ASU games in the 2021-2022 season. I am excited to see the talent the Sun Devils are bringing in.
