on the same day that UConn beat their preferred "football school".
Maybe we should petition that they improve before we accept an invite? ;)

ACCs biggest problem is that their "football powers" are always a tier below the elite schools. In other words they are the big east with a better contract.

It's a riot, I mean, maybe FSU, Clemson and Miami are sponging off the league and the money with any TV is strictly based on hoops, which they contribute next to nothing to.

Spend the $50mil and leave

Neither team stunk up the joint tonight. They just got what they deserved.

I was not sold on Clemson all season. They got an early season boost in the polls for their close win over big, bad Auburn. Then it turned out that Auburn sucked on an epic scale, but of course the pollsters never readjusted their impressions.

Clemson and FSU both had a chance to make a statement with home games against highly ranked SEC opponents. Time to go back to complaining about how Tobacco Road keeps them from being relevant.

Nice. Connecticut will declare a state holiday if we get an ACC invite and some folks are slamming the conference. Makes sense.

Nah. It has stability and money. No one is slamming the conference as a conference.

We are bitching because the football in the ACC is not appreciably better than the football in the conference that we had torn apart last year because the football wasn't perceived as good enough.
