UCF has only one logical rival, USF. Yet, even though USF is having a good season, only about 5000 people show up to their games. Nobody shows up for UCF either. Pretty hard to have a good rivalry with nobody there to watch. UCF would have been wise to embrace this game. Regardless of what you think of UConn football, we have an actual fan base. The game might evolve into something someday.
