Note: The venues for the post-season games will be 'BET' for the Big East Tourney and 'NCAAT' for the Big Dance, so you can easily segregate them using the Venue filter drop-down at the top of the Per-40 tab.

The last 2 games tell me the team is rounding into post-season play at just the right time. A truly ferocious defense that doesn't drop off when the bench comes in, 6 players who average more than 14 points per 40 minutes, 4 more who average higher than 10 per 40 giving us nearly 86 points per game for the last 10 games. Senior and post-senior leadership, two outrageous disruptors, two consistent and coruscant stars and an erratic third one. I haven't been watching anyone else's games, but I can't lose the feeling these guys are ready and Geno now knows how to use them to the best advantage.

Thanks for putting these together all season, @JRRRJ! Very instructive.

It's impressive to see how Aubrey is one of the top four in nearly every category. And the statistics clearly contradict the idea that she's an offensive liability when she's on the court. Go, Aubrey!

I must have missed some threads where it was posted that Aubrey was a liability on offense. I realize that she wasn't a three point dynamo but she didn't need to be nor was she ever asked to be!!! Her inside game was fantastic and that's all we needed from her. And as a plus she had an excellent mid range jumper.

I hadn't seen any threads suggesting Aubrey was a liability on offense. But it is fair to say that in some offensive situations, she can make mistakes. Over the past few years, we've all seen how she can drive into the lane, pick up her dribble, then need to be bailed out before she incurs a 3-second violation. But this isn't the same as being a liability. She's a huge asset who shouldn't be asked to do things she's not great at. And, by the way, she is a capable 3-point shooter. She just doesn't appear to be comfortable firing from beyond the arc.

@Centerstream @Bone Dog Sorry I was unclear. I definitely don't think Aubrey is a liability on offense! I was referencing threads from not long after Aubrey returned from her injury, that worried that if players like Aubrey, Morgan, and Ice didn't make themselves a threat to score on the offensive end, it increased the defensive pressure on Paige, Sarah, and Azzi.

True, Aubrey's greatest offensive strength isn't necessarily in a half-court set, but, as you point out, she's a fine shooter from both mid-range and 3—not to mention she sets good picks, has a great first step to the basket, moves well without the ball, and is our best offensive rebounder.

And so much of Aubrey's offense is generated by her spectacular defense that she lends an exciting dimension to our offensive portfolio. I was at senior day yesterday wearing my #44 t-shirt with pride!
