Someday, someone, somewhere is going to blow the whistle on this guy and his malice toward the university.

He really does have malice toward UConn.
When he was here did anything happen? is there any back story to his malice?

He keeps delivering his ass, we keep handing it to him.

He is going to get a national PR spanking over several of his comments.

Dan Patrick asked Derek Carr about meal plans yesterday. Based on some of Patrick's comments since Bazz's statement, Patrick seems to not believe Bazz or at minimum, not think it's a widespread problem. Carr said it wasn't an issue for him personally (but his family isn't hurting for cash), but he had plenty of teammates who ran out of money for food at the end of each month. Said some went hungry for a day or two, some for a week or more. Said it was a very real issue. Patrick didn't follow up with more questions on the topic.

But based on feedback like that, I'd hope Patrick would get a hold of Emmert's tweet and start attacking Emmert instead of trying to chip away at Bazz bringing it up in the first place.

It is absolutely an issue for kids that can't call up their parents and ask for money.

It goes back to the general stupidity of the media and correspondingly the public. They take what Napier said to mean he didn't eat well and was starving all the time.

The reality is he meant that, for a kid from a lower class background, he didn't always have money for food at night after the on campus options were closed (surely he had night workouts a heck of lot more often than your average student).

ESPin should have had Jay Bilas in the studio breaking Emmert down like a prosecuter would to get real answers.

Exactly Shabazz makes an offhand comment and everyone take it literally.
