FGCU has been good ever since Mel Thomas spent some time there.

FGCU is like DePaul they take approx 35 three point shots a game and average making 13. Can't fall asleep on them and if they make the tournament as a 12 seed they might be able to upset a 5 seed.

Actually, they were good before that. The announcers covering the UConn game called them a variation on DePaul, and I can believe it. Every once in a while when I'm bored I watcg an FGCU game on Watchespn. Almost always entertaining.

I agree Florida Gulf Coast is a decent mid-major but Kentucky is a ranked team. Sorry, this doesn't pass the eye test.

I heard that he was offered but he turned USC down.

I don't know if he was even looked at for the Florida job.

Very surprising that he hasn't been poached by a bigger fish.
