Losing to NC State really underscores Scheyer's underwhelming game coaching. It'd be one thing to lose to an unknown foe but given he has twice as much talent than NC State and they know each other very well, it shines the light on his coaching deficiency.

Beat a 13, a 12, a 1 that was already injured coming in but lost their first team AA in the middle of the first half, and then lost to an 11.

It's about as unimpressive an E8 as you can imagine.

That's not fair to John Calipari.

Fun to watch but no idea how he’d contend with Edey’s size. Even Bacot pretty well held him in check during their two meetings.

Burns hung 20 on 9-12 from the field on Bacot in the ACC title game. Bacot can’t guard him 1 v 1. The only time teams have succeeded is when they double him and State’s shooters don’t hit. Or when State forgets he’s an unstoppable force and forget about him in the half court. During this run State has made much more of an effort to run the offense through him in the half court.

What Burns has never seen is a 7’4 dude with girth like Edey. So yeah, that’s reason for concern as a State fan. That dude may be the rare breed who can go one on one without help and nullify Burns. I’m concerned about foul trouble with how Edey is called and Burns’ obvious deficiencies on that end of the floor.
