Duke has lost 7 times this season. Maryland, South Carolina, South Florida ,Chapel Hill, State, Notre Dame, and Louisville. In the 5 rematches they have a record of 6-0 (Beat Chapel Hill twice. South Carolina is up next. Can the March Revenge Tour be completed??

ucla is gonna blow LSU out tomorrow. Advantage for ucla in post play and coaching. LSU has good guards but not consistent. Flaujae has regressed since her sophomore season and Mikaylah is still not in good shape.


Duke and SC will be tight but SC eventually pulls away. Expect Joyce, Tessa and Fulwiley to will the team to victory late in the game.

Hm I don’t know. I never count LSU out, and I do think Mulkey is easily the better coach here. Even though her personality is…well, never mind!

UCLA has the obvious advantage of Betts in the post. But even though she is undersized for a post, Morrow is always cleaning up the boards. She absolutely dominated against NC State. Her motor is endless.

ultimately I did pick UCLA but I don’t expect a blowout.
 
One thing that’s interesting this year is that I think any of the 8 has a shot to win it all.

USC probably has the least likelihood. I think they can win any one game, but I’m not sure they can do it three times without juju.

Totally agree. LSU is rolling and I think Mulkey, if not appreciably superior to Close is OUTSTANDING. LSU needs more from Johnson, if she hits her average the Tigers have a shot.

SC struggled to score in the 3rd. Must say I LOVE the defense in this came. Duke can lock down at the elite level (SC and Uconn). Dawn needs to find the right combo in the 4th to pull this out. I bet the South Carolina Discussion Board (I assume they have one) has hair on fire.
 
Too many gift calls for SC down the stretch.dont like to see games decided that way. Joe Vaszily is so bad

Looking like SC will get a chance to avenge one of its losses, facing ucla or uconn in the final.

You guys finally got one right with LSU. :cool:

UCLA really earned that win. LSU kept clawing back, but Bruins always managed to get another 6-8 point gap. I was impressed that they did not wilt under pressure.

Mulkey presser will be fun. My guess is LSU executed a game plan to contain Betts and minimize Rice, while letting others beat them...which they did.

LSU 1-1 in tourney now with both Iowa and UCLA, losing the rematches.
