Ok, for my two cents on Hailey Van Lith for
@LwrcasefaN and
@Geew1992, her shooting stats have been trending down since her freshman year at Louisville. Simply stated, she is not a good percentage shooter anywhere on the floor except at the free throw line. She went to LSU to try to become a "point Guard" and that didn't really work out so well.
The simple fact is Hailey Van Lith is not good enough for the WNBA due to size, position limitation (shooting guard vs. point guard) and defensive issues. She will never be good enough for the WNBA. The reality is with only 144 spots, to make the WNBA is incredibly hard. Hailey Van Lith is a good ball player, just not truly elite to play in the WNBA. She could and will find spots in Europe but is she better served by using her COVID year somewhere else to get a Masters degree that could really help her in life. Below is her year by year performance which shows a trend of getting worse, not better.
