Marcus Paige is the most overrated college "star" I've ever seen. The kid doesn't do anything particularly great, and his numbers have declined significantly each year, percentages as well. See the bottom for season averages.

Freshman: 17.5 ppg on 44%

Soph: 14.1 ppg on 41%

Junior: 12 ppg on 39%

@BUHusky10 I decided to check his other numbers as well and interestingly his assists and rebounds are down as well. Even free throw % and steals. His assist to turnover ratio is pretty good though and he is still a very good college player. I think maybe they talk about him like he is a "star" because he plays for UNC in the ACC and ESPN hypes him.
