Wow makes our loss feel bad! We just need some more good guards. If Nova can do it with only one big we should be able to if we had more ball handlers who could create offense.

Yup and Nova for most of the 2nd half was begging them to come take it. What is he like 2 for 7 in the Elite 8?

Yes, but Nova had better guards than us! At least more of them. I'm so glad we are replacing SG with AG.
 
I'm glad that 'Nova shut the critics up. Hopefully this will also silence the folks who think the NBE is a mid-major conference.

Jay Wright is a hell of a coach.

Glad to see the old BE teams still have some mojo. Greatest BBall conference in history.
 
Kansas' refusal to get Perry Ellis touches in the post was inexplicable...very reminiscent of us forgetting about Miller on the block except Ellis had been a monster for them all year/tourney long

We need big who can catch and score like the Nova kid. Great defense by Nova.

Have to give Nova credit for denying Ellis the ball and playing excellent D on him.

Well hopefully SE develops that consistency next year. He will need to play defense to get those minutes as he has the body and moves to score down there.

I had Michigan St. over Kansas in the Final with UNC and A&M joining them in Houston. My wife has Oklahoma over West Virginia in the Final with Villanova and Virginia joining them in the Final 4. I really hate losing the pool to my wife :mad:
 
The amount of people who blindly picked Michigan State this year to win it all shows how strong the "Izzo in March" circle jerk has gotten. Anyone that watched that team get crushed by Iowa twice knew they were good but not great.
