UConn is dying for a player with even 75% of Edwards or guys skills ...or even Kline
We are a spoiled fan base, last 3 years not withstanding. In 4 years, we have had arguably the best player in the country. In 1996 with Ray (I think Camby was the best IMO), 1999 with Rip, 2004 OK4, 2011 with Kemba.
But I get it, I would take 75% of Edwards, too.

We can stop ripping on UConn, we'll be good again.

It’s a joke.

Just a sign of what a currently good program does.

4 turnovers in over 40 minutes is amazing.

Maybe I should say teams are boring more often - this is the game of the tournament Edwards and guy and jerome going at it

Anyone who uses that shot to try and win the argument is an idiot

Why? It wasn't a miraculous shot. Make one. Miss on purpose with a clang, tip out far and reset. Heck, you could lose that way if they take a three.

It's not perfect, but I prefer playing D straight up.

You could also make the ft and go up 4 I guess.
that's the big one right there. Kline has been shooting unbelieveably, but he has to make that free throw. The other mistake Purdue made was that they had Eifert on the low block on Jerome's intentional missed FT.

Did it work?
No but it's worked about 100 other times this year. Do you realize how much had to go right for UVA to tie the game in this scenario?

Oh the anxiety. Been a long time since I felt like this. So much at stake for these programs.

You can also lose the game on that possession. It's a gamble. Good odds, but still, you put your life on the line.

Maybe not miraculous but I'm gonna say a tip out, 60 foot pass, and hitting a shot is a little more difficult than just hitting a 3.

Even just simple math that's 3 things that have to go right instead of 1

yup. neither has made a Final Four since the early 80s. that's an eternity in college basketball. This is before UConn was any good and playing games at the rinky dink Field House. No one in their right mind at that time could even imagine UConn being a good Big East team let alone a national powerhouse.

Who’s ready for Edwards to hit a Trey Burke Esque 3 for double ot?

Does anyone know, where does Hurley stand on fouling in the closing seconds up three?
