Washington has come out very hot, Stanford flat. UW 22-7 after the 1st quarter. Tara is not happy.

Stanford making a few more shots now, but Washington still leads 30-17.

The rebounding Samuelson has attempted three 3-pointers so far. She's made one, airballed one, and missed one off the backboard. Weird.

Osahor is unbelievable for Washington.

10 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists in just the first half. She is truly one of a kind. I found myself laughing at how she got fatigued because there were very few stops in the action in the half. Neighbors even called a timeout late in the 2nd quarter, apparently just to give her a breather.

Washington's role players are stepping up as well. Athley's had a couple buckets, and Kelly Kingma, who didn't even play in the Maryland game, has hit two 3's.

Lili Thompson, meanwhile, has kept Stanford in the game with 13 points.

Thompson has half of Stanford's 26 points. They're having all kinds of trouble getting McCall good looks against Washington's 2-3 zone; she's scoreless on 0-7 shooting.

I don't think I've ever seen a player like Osahor before. She shoots 3-pointers completely flatfooted, using just her arms and upper body. She apparently doesn't like conditioning drills. I'm not making that up or trying to be mean; ESPN went out of its way to show her sitting on the bench idly while her team was doing a conditioning drill. But she obviously has some skill and seems to make good decisions with the ball.

Plum hasn't scored much yet but has done a little of everything. Could be on a triple-double watch: 7 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists at halftime.

This Washington team is so fun. The dynamic Plum, and Osahor, who has a greatly superior basketball brain to make up for her more limited body.

How about an All-Husky NC game? Dogfight, so to speak.

McCall has come to life, and Stanford is hitting some threes. The deficit was cut to 7 at point, now 10 at the 3Q media timeout.

Did everyone see Geno's comments about the Boston Globe writer who hate-tweeted about UConn "killing" WBB? Classic.

Osahor is a very funny player. She stood there like a Budda, no move no jump, just shoot 3 and no one even defend her...LOL

It's crazy how she just stands there and chucks the ball into the hoop like she's tossing a pebble.

She actually has good post moves. If they don't double her on the low post, she's gonna score. Just had two "and-ones" there in the 3rd quarter.

After 3 quarters, Osahor has 23 points and 13 rebounds. Plum has 14 points and 8 assists.

I would love to see a UConn/Washington final, if only to see this Osahor kid be forced to confront a pace she's never previously experienced! Oxygen, anyone?

Yes I want Washington too.

Wouldn't mind playing Washington so we can have a battle of the Huskies!

NBA continuation rules in effect, apparently.
