ELITE 8 - Day One

There's a whole lot to like about the Loyola team
Well coached, the kids are all well rounded and the big freshman is going to be a terror when he's a senior
Their game makes them hard to defend - very disciplined
I would love it if they won the whole thing

Game has been ugly for Michigan so far, they should be very happy they are up at the half

The big German is building a house out there with all of those bricks.

Not a huge UM fan, except when they play MSU, but every year they get better and better as the year grows
I think Beilein is in the top 5 active coaches
He gets the most out of his players

I'll be rooting for Loyola, but let's be honest, their run isn't in the same league with George Mason's. GM had to go through Michigan St., North Carolina, and UConn to reach the Final Four. That's 3 super elites that they beat. They also gave Florida a better game in the semis than UCLA did in the Final.

I’m rooting for FlState tonight simply because I despise the Big 10.
Every team. All 14 of them.

Its a pick your poison type of game not quite Cuse-Puke level of cringe but somewhat similar, I dont wanna see an ACC team in the FF.

I can appreciate that. For me it might go back to 1989 when Seton Hall got the mother of all screwings against Michigan.

Michigan is competitive and shows up in the tournament year in and year out, yet you never hear Beilein's name come up among the best coaches.

If he finishes my bracket, he will

I like Beilein, very underrated coach. I have no problem w Michigan. FSU crapped their pants at the end of that game. They totally panicked with some of those 3s they were chucking up.

What an ugly game

But F FSU and all the trash (including line cutters) associated with it, if one team had to win I’m less upset it was Michigan

The worst screw job in the history of sports and not many people seem to remember it or know about it. Seton Hall is still the 1989 champs in my eyes.
